This bright and brilliant maximalist retreat has us oogly eyed in New Orleans. Live like a Southerner today in this 100-year-old historic gem, filled to the brim with fun and fancy. Kids will adore the climb-up twin bed nooks within one bedroom when they’re not curled up reading on the veranda or going for a dip in the four-foot-deep pool.

Located next a city park, the home also offers a travel crib and highchair for the littlest travelers, but we’d say it’s best for older kids, who can look but not touch when asked (hello, antiques!)
