A seven-minute ride up a steep funicular, you’ll find the “Fairytale” Hotel – Maerchenhotel – nestled in car-free and family-friendly Braunwald, Switzerland. Travelers will want to note that the hotel very clearly calls out its Swiss tendencies; you’ll find staff speaking German during organized activities, but if you’re looking for cultural immersion, we’re not sure how you could possibly look away from this kid-friendly gem.
A spectacular childcare program is offered from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily for even the littlest ones and includes a children’s dinner that includes literal floating tables, a train buffet and bouncy castle after dessert.
