Spa getaways can feel daunting with a baby in tow, but the Munchkin Menu at Carmel Valley Ranch makes traveling with an infant easier than it may be otherwise. With this offering, guests can borrow a host of gear, including a BOB hiking stroller, double stroller by Mockingbird, pack ‘n play, highchair, baby genie, bottle warmer and even a set of baby toiletries. (A ranch scavenger hunt, coloring book and board games are available for bigger kids, too.) A Kids Camp is available for full or half day sessions for ages 2-12, as is a Kids Night Out program that allows mom and dad to escape for a quiet dinner together.
Suites – including two-bedroom family suites – are available with two bathrooms, an expansive deck and fireplace. They’re the perfect place to relax when you’re not golfing, hiking or visiting the spa. As expected, you’ll also find fresh culinary options at the ranch’s handful of restaurants, where homemade baby purees are also on the menu.
